Who we are, and what we offer a partner
Collaboration is not an afterthought for Peace and Humanity Welfare Organization. It is Aim 7 of our constitution: to collaborate with Government Departments, national and international organizations, donors and other lawful institutions.
PHWO is a welfare organisation serving all of Pakistan from its registered office in Larkana, Sindh, with a written constitution, a named founding team of local professionals, eight defined programme areas and a documented plan of operation. Registration under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 is in process.
What we offer a partner is local reach, professional credibility on the ground, and a commitment to honest reporting from the first rupee. What we look for is the same in return.
Government Departments
We want to supplement public services, not compete with them or duplicate them. We are seeking coordination with the Social Welfare, Education, Health, Local Government, Forest and Environment departments listed by the Government of Sindh, and with the district administration and disaster management authorities, on:
- siting and scheduling free medical camps so they complement existing facilities;
- identifying schools and out-of-school children for our education support;
- approved sites and species for tree plantation, and coordinated cleanliness campaigns;
- recognised certification routes for our vocational and digital skills trainees;
- pre-agreed arrangements for emergency response and relief distribution;
- referral of families to entitlements and public support programmes they qualify for.
Educational Institutions
Schools, colleges, universities and technical institutes in Sindh can partner with us to:
- identify students at risk of dropping out for financial reasons;
- host supplementary classes, literacy sessions and digital skills cohorts;
- run student volunteering, environment clubs and school health activities;
- provide trainers, curriculum input or accreditation for our courses;
- place graduates as instructors and mentors in our programmes.
Healthcare Professionals and Institutions
Hospitals, clinics, laboratories, pharmacies and individual practitioners can partner with us to:
- staff free medical camps, particularly with female doctors;
- accept and treat referrals from our camps;
- provide diagnostics, medicines and consumables at cost or in kind;
- design and deliver preventive health and awareness content;
- support emergency medical response during floods and other disasters.
Corporate and CSR Teams
Companies operating in Sindh or nationally can fund a defined, costed programme and receive proper reporting on it. Options across our programme areas include a cohort of digital and freelancing trainees, a series of medical camps, a school support package, a women’s vocational batch, a plantation drive with aftercare, a solar installation, or a contribution to our emergency fund held ready for the next disaster.
Every CSR partnership comes with a written scope, a budget, a delivery report and an expenditure report. Companies can also contribute in kind: laptops and hardware, internet connectivity, tools and equipment, medicines, relief supplies, transport, venues, or employee volunteering and mentoring time.
What we do not offer is political favour, endorsement of products, or any arrangement inconsistent with our non-political, non-sectarian status and our constitution.
National and International Organizations
INGOs, development organizations, donor agencies, foundations and grant-making bodies looking for a locally rooted implementing partner in interior Sindh can work with us on programme delivery, community mobilisation, needs assessment, training delivery and emergency response.
Country programme priorities published by bodies such as UNICEF in Pakistan are a useful starting point for shaping a joint proposal. We will accept the reporting, monitoring and audit conditions attached to grant funding, and we will say plainly when a proposed scope exceeds the capacity we currently have. A partner is better served by an honest refusal than by an overcommitment.
How We Work With Partners
- Written scope. Every partnership is documented: objectives, activities, budget, timeline, roles and indicators.
- Indicators agreed in advance. Success is defined before the work starts, not described after it.
- Separate accounting. Partner funds are recorded under their own head and used solely for the agreed purpose.
- Honest reporting. We report what was achieved and what was not, including under-delivery. A partner who only ever hears good news is not being informed.
- Coordination, not duplication. We check what already exists in a locality before proposing to add to it.
- Safeguarding. Our Child Protection Policy applies to all partnership activity involving children.
What We Claim, and What We Do Not
We present only what can be verified, and we will never present projections as a track record. What a prospective partner can examine today is our constitution, our founding members, our plan of operation, our financial and transparency rules and our proposed indicators. All of it is available on request, and we would rather you scrutinise it now than discover it later.
