These terms apply to your use of phwo.org, the website of Peace and Humanity Welfare Organization (PHWO). By using this website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
About Us
PHWO is a non-political, non-sectarian voluntary social welfare organization founded in 2026, with its registered office at H. No. 704/C, Near Govt. Girls High School, Lahori Muhalla, Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan. Contact info@phwo.org.
Registration under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 with the Directorate of Social Welfare, Karachi, Government of Sindh, is in process. Our governance arrangements are published in full. We do not hold ourselves out as a registered agency until registration is granted, and we will publish the position once it changes.
Status of the Information on This Site
PHWO publishes only information it can verify. The programmes described on this website are planned rather than delivered, and are described in future tense for that reason. Nothing on this site should be read as a statement that a programme has already been carried out, or as a guarantee that a particular programme will run on a particular date or in a particular form. Launch depends on funding, volunteers, partnerships and approvals.
Beneficiary numbers and impact statistics are published only once they have been verified. When we do, they will appear in our published activity and financial reporting, on the terms set out on our transparency page.
We take care to keep information on this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete or error free, and we may change it at any time without notice.

Donations
Donations are governed by our Donation Policy, and corrections of mistaken payments by our Refund and Correction Policy. In summary: our payment channels are manual, a donation is recognised only once verified against our bank records, a receipt is then issued, and restricted gifts are used entirely for the stated cause.
Always obtain our payment details directly from this website, from info@phwo.org, or by calling us. PHWO will never ask for your card details, banking password, PIN or one-time code. If someone solicits money in our name using other account details, do not pay, and please inform us.
Volunteering, Membership and Partnership
Applying to volunteer, for membership or for partnership does not create any entitlement. Applications are considered under our constitution and our published criteria, and we may decline an application. Membership is subject to the eligibility conditions on our Membership page, including that employees of the organisation may not be members.
Requests for Assistance
Submitting a request for assistance does not guarantee that assistance will be provided. Support is subject to our written eligibility criteria, verification, available funds and the programmes actually operating at the time, and you can discuss a request with us before submitting it. Assistance is decided on need alone, without regard to faith, sect, ethnicity, gender or political affiliation, and is never conditional on political support of any kind.
Rishta Desk
PHWO Rishta Desk is a free service through which families may register a person seeking marriage and through which PHWO may, at its discretion, introduce two registered families to each other. Using it means you accept the following, which apply in addition to the rest of these terms.This is an identity check only. Families remain responsible for their own enquiries into character, family, finances and health, and PHWO gives no guarantee about any person or match. Introductions happen in a private channel on this website that PHWO opens, can pause or close at any time, and can read; contact details cannot be exchanged in it, and repeated attempts lock that family out of the channel. PHWO has no verification team and no matchmaking staff: identity checks and match suggestions are produced end to end by an automated (AI) system, and both families are informed automatically. PHWO makes no decision about any person or family, vouches for nobody, and gives no guarantee of any kind. After an introduction the two families check each other by their own enquiries — character, family, health, income, property, background — exactly as with any other rishta, and every decision is theirs alone. PHWO is a free welfare platform and charges nothing for any part of this. Every faith in Pakistan may register, and matches are proposed inside the family’s own faith unless the family asks otherwise.
Automated verification and matching. Identity checks (comparing the CNIC or passport capture, the live selfie, the liveness clip and the introduction video with each other and with the answers given) and match suggestions are produced by an automated system using artificial intelligence. Both families are informed automatically by the system once it finds a match; PHWO staff do not review or confirm individual matches, and may open a record only to administer the desk, handle a complaint or delete it on request. PHWO does not guarantee the accuracy of any automated check, and every family remains responsible for its own inquiries before proceeding with a rishta.
What PHWO does. PHWO checks that a registered person is who they say they are: we compare the live identity-document capture, the live selfie and the liveness clip with the details entered, and where the automated check is not satisfied we may ask for further documents or a reference. Only a record that has passed these checks is considered for an introduction. PHWO then suggests introductions between verified records on the basis of the information each family has given, and shares details only after both families have agreed.
What PHWO does not do. PHWO’s verification is limited to identity and the plausibility of what was entered. PHWO does not and cannot verify a person’s character, conduct, health, earnings, assets, employment, education, marital history, family circumstances or intentions, and does not investigate any of these. Every such matter is for the families themselves to satisfy themselves about, in the ordinary way and with the usual care, before any commitment is made. An introduction by PHWO is not a recommendation, an endorsement or a representation of any kind about the other family.
No guarantee and no liability. PHWO gives no guarantee that a match will be found, that any introduction will lead to a marriage, or that any information supplied by a registered family is true or complete. PHWO accepts no liability for any loss, harm, expense or disappointment arising from an introduction, from a family’s reliance on information supplied by another family, or from the conduct of any person introduced through the desk. Any agreement, engagement or nikah that follows is entirely between the families concerned, and PHWO is not a party to it.
No fees, no money. The service is free. PHWO charges no fee and takes no commission, and no PHWO staff member or volunteer may ask a family for money, a gift or any consideration in connection with the desk. PHWO does not provide funds, and nothing on this site should be read as an offer to pay for or contribute to any expense. Anyone asking for money in PHWO’s name is not acting for PHWO and should be reported to us at once.
Your obligations. You confirm that the information you enter is true, that the person registered is at least eighteen years old and knows about the registration, and that you will treat any information PHWO shares with you about another family as confidential, use it only for the purpose of considering the rishta, and not copy, publish or pass it on. PHWO may decline, pause or remove any registration without giving a reason, and will remove a registration on request.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use this website for any unlawful purpose;
- impersonate PHWO, its members, staff or volunteers, or solicit funds in our name without written authorisation;
- submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, including false donation pledges;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or its data, or introduce malicious code;
- copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the site for commercial purposes without permission;
- post or transmit content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, or that promotes political, sectarian, ethnic or religious hatred.
Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including text, images, logos, the PHWO name and design elements, belongs to PHWO or is used with permission, and is protected by applicable law. You may share and quote our material for non-commercial, educational or awareness purposes with clear attribution to Peace and Humanity Welfare Organization. Any other use requires our written permission.
Images and Consent
Photographs and stories of the people we serve are published only with informed consent, and consent is never a condition of receiving assistance. Some images on this site may be illustrative rather than photographs of our own activities, and where that is the case we will not present them as records of work we have carried out.

This site may link to third-party websites, including banks and payment providers. Those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, security or practices.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PHWO is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, from reliance on information published on it, or from any interruption or unavailability of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, and continued use of the site means you accept it.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Larkana, Sindh.
