Tell us what you need
If you are facing a cost you cannot meet — ration, a medical bill, school fees, or a tool you need in order to earn — this is where you put it on record. It takes a few minutes, it costs nothing, and it reaches the right people directly rather than sitting in an inbox.
How a request is handled
Submitting the form registers a request. It is not an approval, and it does not create an entitlement to assistance of any kind.
Every request is verified first, then assessed on its merits and against the criteria of our programmes. Assistance is arranged where a verified need is matched with a donor or a programme able to meet it. No particular outcome is guaranteed, and we do not suggest otherwise. We aim to let every applicant know where their request stands, but the number of requests means we cannot promise an individual reply to each one.
Wherever it is practical, support is arranged in kind: paid directly to a shop, a school or a pharmacy against an invoice, rather than handed over as cash. It is the most accountable way to do this, for you and for the person giving.
Verification, and why it protects you
Every applicant is verified. You will be asked for an identity document at the form, and then for a short video — about a minute — holding that document, saying who you are and explaining what you need. The link to record it is private and is sent to you after you submit.
This is not suspicion. It is what allows a request to be acted on with confidence, and it keeps the register clear for the people who genuinely need it.
- No CNIC yet? That is expected if you are under eighteen, and it does not count against you. A Form B, a student card, a passport or a domicile certificate all work, and your parent or guardian can stand behind the request with their CNIC instead.
- Your documents stay private. They are held securely, used only to verify and assess your request, seen only by the person handling it, and never published.
What makes a request easy to act on
- Be specific. “A laptop able to run design software, around Rs 85,000” is something a donor can say yes to. “Please help me” is not.
- Send a document. A shop quotation, a prescription or medical report, a fee challan, a portfolio or a CV does more for your request than anything else you can add.
- Give an honest figure, even a rough one. It is how a request is matched with someone able to meet it.
- Answer the household questions. They are optional and nothing is refused for leaving them blank — but they are how the most difficult cases are recognised.
A warning worth reading twice
This service is free of charge. PHWO never asks an applicant for a fee, a deposit, a “processing charge” or a payment of any kind, and nobody acting for PHWO is authorised to do so. If anyone contacts you in our name and asks you for money, refuse, and tell us immediately at info@phwo.org. We would far rather hear about it once too often than not at all.
We also ask one thing of you in return: that what you tell us is true and that the documents you send are your own. Information given falsely ends a request, and is recorded.
If you would rather talk to a person
Write to info@phwo.org. The form is faster to act on, but it is not the only way to reach us.
