Each case below is a real request from someone in Pakistan, verified before it was published: their identity, the need itself, and a short recorded video. Names, photographs and addresses are never shown — only what is needed, where, and how much. Choose a case and your donation is recorded against it.

What a donation can do
These are typical costs at current prices in Pakistan. Each case’s own figure comes from its quotation or invoice, not from this list.
- About Rs 15,000 — one month of basic ration for a family — flour, rice, oil, sugar, lentils, tea and spices
- About Rs 12,000 — one month’s rent for a single room or small home in a city
- About Rs 5,000 — one month’s fee at a low-cost private school
- About Rs 25,000 — a basic smartphone for a student’s online classes
- About Rs 60,000 — a reliable used laptop for study or remote work
- About Rs 60,000 — a year of intermediate or college fees at a public institution
How cases are chosen and shown
A case appears here only when three things are true: the person asked us to help, they agreed to an anonymous summary being shown to donors, and we have verified their identity, their need and a recorded video. Wherever practical, support is paid directly to the shop, school, landlord or pharmacy against an invoice, so a gift arrives as exactly what was needed.
If you would rather not choose, a general donation reaches the most urgent verified request first. Zakat and Sadaqah are applied in full to eligible people and are never used for running costs.
